Party Time!!

I am so looking forward to this weekend. I'm going out with a bunch of my girlfriends to celebrate Jenn R's b-day. Mani's and Pedi's tomorrow afternoon and then Kokoamos!! It's gonna get wild. We are going to a club here in V-Beach called Avanti, where we are VIP! Yeah I got the hook up--Thanks Nick!! It's going to be super cold tomorrow night but I'm gonna have on a cute new outfit, new shoes, new make up and new jewelry. I'm just trying to live it up here until I have to move away from all my friends. Still no word on exactly where yet but it's fo' so Florida.

The house went on the market last Thrusday and people came to see it Saturday. We busted our humps to get it cleanned up and ready to be shown. They liked it and are supposed to come back this weekend. My dad was over here all week finishing up little things that needed to be fixed. Now it's a wait and see game.

Audrey is doing great...we're working on the whole potty stuff. She's a smart girl and I know she'll get it SOMEDAY!! She can spell her name, count, she knows her colors, and is getting a hair cut tomorrow. I'll post pics promise. Time to get the wild one down for bed...

Sad to say...No Snow!!

So yesterday was a big bust, no snow. I watched the weather radar all day and the snow just neve made it to us. The band of cold weather and snow, would cross over to Virginia from North Carolina and dissapear. Needless to say I think everyone was upset that it never snowed. All the public and private schools were closed yesterday in ANTICIPATION of the snow day...lucky kids got an extra day off. Today we're back to normal. It's off to work I go on the hump day...

Let it Snow!!

At least that's what I'm praying for today! It's supposed to snow anywhere from 1-3 inches here in Virginia Beach today. It's so exciting, to bad it's a Tuesday and we all have to work. Public schools are closed today for the "snow day" but the bases are still open there for Audrey still goes to school. I'm hoping for a half day; ah, that would be nice. If we do get some snow I'll post pics for everyone to enjoy. Stay warm today and drive safe!!

Way behind

Ok, I know I'm so out of touch with the blogging world. I've been so busy with the holidays and getting ready to sell the house. Aghh, so please forgive me for being behind. Started the New Year off at home with some of my best pals. We played the Wii and had champagne at midnight. Of course Luke isn't home, he's still over seas defending our country. He's decided to become a recruiter so it's off to North Florida for us. We don't have an exact location yet, closer to the end of the month we should know. I'm just trying to enjoy my last few months in Va. Beach, and making the most of it. I've begun the de-clutterization and making the home back into a house so we can sell it. All my scrapbook stuff has been sealed and is going to be delivered to my parents for the time being. The movers aren't touching that or our TV...priceless items. I hope every one's New Year is off to a fantastic start! I'll try to do better with this blog thing.

NSD Event

wow, what a day NSD...we had so much fun. It was great to meet Kris the QK's rep and see all the crazy ladies and man dressed up for our Hoe-down. I of course purchased two, I'll be working with them soon. Keep watching the blog for a project made with one of them.

On a bit of a sad note, my friend Kate is heading back out on the open seas. She'll be returning to her cruise ship job Saturday. She's a great friend and super scrapbooker. She's lucky to do this job though, if I didn't have a husband or kid I think I'd like to try it. Cruising the seas and seeing exotic places and meeting new people. Some day I'll go one a cruise and see what it's all about.
